DemocracyLab Hackathon
NorthWest Fruit (Orchard and Ecological Research Center)
As a new UX designer, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the DemocracyLab Hackathon, focusing on the NorthWest Fruit project—a collaborative effort involving an Orchard and Ecological Research Center. Throughout this experience, I was able to see how the agile progress is done. I was moving to New Jersey around this time and I wasn't able to finish through with the project but.
Being so new to UX, I was happy that I got this opportunity to help out with ideas and concepts. I immersed myself in designing user experiences that aimed to enhance the interaction between visitors, researchers, and the fruit orchard environment. It was an exhilarating experience to contribute my skills to a project that promotes sustainability, education, and the preservation of natural resources, all while gaining valuable insights and honing my UX design abilities.
