Maryland Art Place/UnderBar
In preparation for the reopening of the new UnderBar location beneath Maryland Art Place, my assignment was to design a logo that would represent the establishment. With an expected opening date of August 2023, I focused on creating a captivating and memorable logo that would reflect the essence of UnderBar and resonate with its target audience.
As part of the process, I was responsible for developing a comprehensive style guide, which outlined the visual elements and guidelines for maintaining a consistent brand identity. To present my ideas and gather feedback, I collaborated closely with Dejia, the project lead, and Brian, the graphic designer.
Together, we used Miro as a collaborative tool, leveraging its whiteboarding features to brainstorm and plan the logo design. This allowed us to efficiently share and refine ideas, ensuring that the final logo design aligns with the vision of UnderBar and meets the expectations of the organization's director and assistant.
